Today I had the rare oppurtunity to go inside the dome at the Historic Henderson County Courthouse. The several million dollar renovation is almost complete. The construction superintendant, Gerald Ledford, I have have become friends so he invited me up for a tour of the building before it is opened to the public sometime in March. I had to climb rickety ladders and stairs to get up to the top but it was worth it! There are views for miles! It was a very cool experience!
